Botox

Botulinum toxin type A can be used to ‘freeze’ muscles for a period of 3-4 months stopping the formation of lines.

Botox injections block the uptake of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine by the face muscle which relaxes the muscle action, so wrinkles are softened and in some cases eliminated.

The wrinkle softening effect of botox is temporary as the toxin is broken down by enzymes in the body and eliminated over time.

This can help banish “action lines” such as crows feet and frown lines around the eyes and forehead areas. The product can also be used to ‘lift’ the eyebrows giving a fresher look. Botulinum can also be used in combination with dermal fillers.

Hyperhydrosis

Is a common condition where a person sweats excessively. it can be treated quite successfully using toxin, especially in the underarm pit area.

Lip Enhancement or Augmentation

There are many reasons why lips can benefit from enhancement. A natural process of ageing results in the lips becoming thinner. This volume can be replaced giving a natural rejuvenated look. Some lips are asymmetrical, for example the top lip may be thinner than the bottom and requires balancing. This process may also be ideal for those clients that experience the ‘smokers’ lines around the mouth, and in this case just the border of the lip can be rejuvenated without affecting the volume.

The lips can be a little more sensitive so numbing cream is applied prior to treatment.

Lip enhancement is usually performed with dermal filler, but toxin can also be used here to soften the top lip line in the case of “smokers lines”.

Chemical Peels

Chemical Peels: There are different types and levels of peel available. The Most popular ones we offer comes from a range of light peels sometimes referred to as “lunch time peels”. Different types of chemical peel are used to treat different skin complaints such as ache, pigmentation and fine lines and wrinkles.

Our most popular peels brands are from Glo Thereputics, Clincare and Neo Strata, ranges including;  a basic Enzyme peel, or  Glycolic, Salycilic and Mandelic acid peel which have very light and has little or no “downtime”, to stronger retinol peels where you will see some flaking in return for good skin firming and retexturing results. The peels help increase the skins cell turnover and promote collagen production.

We are also seeing great results from our ZO professional skincare regiemes and specific peel courses which focus on either acne, pigment or fine lines.

An antioxidant and Sunscreen must be used after the peel to maintain lasting results and to get the best from your skin a bespoke skincare analysis and full range of products are also available .

Our lighter peels can also be combined with a Dermaplaning, Vitamin C or hydration b5 facial for tired, pollution damaged or dehydrated skin. (For anyone that would just like to be spoilt)

Dermal Fillers

Lines that are visible when the face is at rest needs to be treated with dermal fillers. These are called static lines. Dermal fillers are products that help fill and smooth these static lines and areas where loss of volume has occured . There are several types of dermal fillers based on hyaluronic acid which are graded according to the depth of the line. They will last approximately 6 months.

Cheek Filler

Cheek enhancements may be desirable either to improve the definition of the cheek bones or to lift the mid face as part of facial rejuvenation. This treatment can also diminish the appearance of nose to mouth lines which then gives the face a fresher, more youthful  look.

Chin and Jawline

Dermal filler can also be used to reshape, enhance or define, your side and front profiles but treating the chin and jawline area.
