Your information, handled with care.
This notice explains what Lisa Moore Therapy does with the information you give us through this website, why we use it, and what your rights are.
Last updated: 15 October 2026
Who we are
Lisa Moore Therapy Limited is responsible for your information (the “data controller”). We are registered in England and Wales, company number 10535483, with our registered office at 2 Margaret Road, Colchester, Essex, CO1 1RZ. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under number ZB164541.
Treatments are carried out by Lisa Collette Moore, Dental Hygienist, registered with the General Dental Council under number 6267. For anything in this notice, email info@lisamooretherapy.co.uk or call 07526 757 536.
What we collect
- Enquiries and the contact form: your name, mobile number and email address, the treatment you are interested in, when suits you, and anything you choose to write to us.
- The skin check: one photograph of your face taken or chosen on your device. The scores, the marked photos and the simulation are worked out on your device, and the photo is not uploaded for this. A smaller copy of the photo and your scores are sent once to an AI service, which estimates how old your skin looks and writes a short summary. If you then choose to send your report to Lisa, we receive the report (a PDF with your photo, the marked photos and your scores), your name, mobile number and email address, and the answers to two optional questions if you give them.
- In the clinic: if Lisa scans your skin with the same scanner during an appointment, it works the same way on her device. Nothing is stored, and the report goes only to you, or wherever you ask her to send it.
- Visit statistics:which pages you open, how far you scroll, how long you stay, which buttons you press (for example “Book online” or WhatsApp), how far you get in the consultation form and the skin check, which treatment the skin check suggested, roughly where you are (country and city) and what kind of device you use. No name, no contact details, no photo, no answers and no cookie are involved.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use your details to reply to you and to arrange a consultation. The legal basis is that you have asked us to take steps before you become a client (UK GDPR, Article 6(1)(b)).
Anything you tell us about your skin or health, and the photograph in the skin check, is special category data. We only use it with your explicit consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form (Article 9(2)(a)). You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing info@lisamooretherapy.co.uk. Withdrawing does not affect anything we did before.
The skin check has two separate tick boxes. The first allows your photo to be measured on your device and read by an AI service to give you a result. The second, which you only see if you choose to send your report to Lisa, allows us to pass your report, your contact details and any answers you gave to her.
We count visits to see how many people use this website and which parts of it help them reach us, so that we can improve it. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)), and the counter relies on the exception for statistics in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. You can object at any time by emailing info@lisamooretherapy.co.uk, and we honour the “Do Not Track” and “Global Privacy Control” settings of your browser: with either switched on, nothing is counted.
We do not sell your information or use it for advertising. The skin check result is produced automatically, but it decides nothing about you: it has no legal effect and nobody is refused a service because of it. You do not have to give us your details, but without a way to reach you we cannot reply.
Who receives it
- Lisa, by email, so she can reply to you personally. For the skin check this happens only if you choose to send her your report.
- OpenAI OpCo, LLC, a company in the United States, which reads a smaller copy of your skin check photo together with your scores and returns an age estimate and a short summary. It receives no name or contact details. OpenAI says it does not use data sent this way to train its models and that it may keep it for up to 30 days to check for misuse. For this transfer we rely on the standard contractual clauses with the UK Addendum in OpenAI’s data processing terms.
- VonaxAI, who built and runs this website, the system we use to keep track of enquiries and the private dashboard in which we see the visit statistics, acting only on our instructions. That system is hosted on servers in the European Union, and names, contact details and messages are stored encrypted.
- Vercel Inc., which hosts this website, Resend Inc., which delivers the enquiry emails, and Google, which provides the inbox they arrive in. These companies are based in the United States and certified under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (the “UK-US data bridge”), which the UK recognises as giving adequate protection.
- If you book online, message us on WhatsApp or follow a link to another website, that service (for example Ovatu, our booking system) handles your information under its own privacy notice.
How long we keep it
- In our enquiry system, your contact details and messages are removed automatically twelve months after we last worked on your enquiry. After that, only the fact that an enquiry came in on a given day remains, with nothing that points back to you.
- The skin check photograph and report are not stored on this website. OpenAI may keep the photo for up to 30 days to check for misuse. If you send your report to Lisa, she uses it only to reply to you, and you can ask us at any time to have it deleted.
- Visit statistics are kept for up to 14 months and are not linked to you: the counter turns your IP address and browser type into a random ID that changes every day, and the IP address itself is never stored.
- Enquiry emails are kept only as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry. If you become a client, your treatment records are kept for as long as professional rules require.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to how we use it, ask for it to be passed to another provider, and withdraw your consent at any time. To do any of these, email info@lisamooretherapy.co.uk. We will reply within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first at info@lisamooretherapy.co.uk. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, look into it without undue delay and let you know the outcome.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies, local storage or similar technologies, and it does not load advertising or social media trackers. We do count visits with our own small counter: it sets no cookie, saves nothing on your device and does not recognise you from one day to the next. If your browser sends “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control”, it does not run at all. If you follow a link to another website, such as our online booking system or WhatsApp, that website may use its own cookies under its own policy. The map on this website is a picture and does not connect to anyone. Only if you choose to load the interactive map does your browser connect to Google, which may then use its own cookies under its own policy. The only cookie this website sets is a login cookie for Lisa’s own studio page, which visitors never see.
Under 18s
Our treatments are for adults aged 18 and over, and this website is not meant for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this notice
If the way we use your information changes, we will update this notice. The date at the top shows the current version.
