Lip Enhancement

What it is

Lip enhancement uses hyaluronic acid dermal filler to gently replace volume that fades as we age, restore a defined border, or balance lips that are naturally asymmetric. It is not about making lips bigger for the sake of it — most of my clients want their lips back, not someone else’s. Where the concern is fine lines around the mouth rather than volume, just the lip border can be refined.

How it works

Small, carefully placed amounts of filler add shape, hydration and structure exactly where they are needed — softening, defining or rebalancing rather than overfilling. Because lips are more sensitive, numbing cream is applied first so the treatment stays comfortable. Individual results vary, and we always start conservatively, building gradually if you want more.

What to expect

Lips swell more than most areas, so expect them to look fuller than the final result for the first few days — this is normal and settles within a week. A little tenderness or bruising can occur and passes quickly. The result is long-lasting but temporary, gradually softening over several months, after which a top-up keeps things looking fresh.

• Avoid hot drinks, alcohol and intense exercise for 24 hours
• Keep lips clean and avoid makeup on the area for the first day
• We can build gradually over visits rather than all at once
